Castroni Coffee is a family-run roaster in Netherton, Huddersfield. We have been at it since 2020, and the plan has not changed: buy well, roast small, and look after the people who serve it.

Our story

Started with one
machine and a
lot of opinions

At Castroni Coffee, family comes first, and coffee comes a close second. We began supplying a handful of independents around Huddersfield with a blend we had spent months arguing over, and the thing that kept the phone ringing was not the coffee on its own. It was turning up.

Six years on we supply cafés, restaurants, delis, offices and building sites across West Yorkshire and beyond. Same blend, considerably more of it, and the same pickup with our name down the side.

Ethically sourced beans from Brazil, Colombia and Vietnam, plus cocoa, chai and loose-leaf tea we blend ourselves.

Roast

Small batches, roasted to order in Netherton. Roast dates on the label because freshness is a fact, not a slogan.

Equip

Machines, grinders and brewers supplied, installed, serviced and QC checked, and repaired when a Saturday goes wrong.

Train

Free ongoing barista training for every account. Every new starter, as many times as it takes.

The local bit

Straight outta
Huddersfield

Netherton sits about two miles south-west of Huddersfield town centre, on the road that climbs out towards Meltham. That is where the coffee is blended, bagged and loaded.

Being local is not a marketing line here. It is the delivery model. If you are in Huddersfield, Honley, Meltham, Holmfirth, Slaithwaite, Elland or Halifax, there is a decent chance your order arrives in the back of our own pickup rather than a courier's van. Everywhere else in the UK gets same or next-day dispatch.
